Excellent restaurant. I was there with my girlfriend, my mum and her partner and we had the best night. My mum’s partner has recently been diagnosed with quite a few food intolerances and we were so impressed that La Rosa could cater for all his allergies! The ambiance is so nice, staff are attentive and kind and food is outstanding.

Best Italian restaurant in Auckland!!Lovely staff and food is amazing!!Chorizo gnocchi and spaghetti gamba are my favourite dishes!Easy parking on the roads nearby. Kid friendly and wheelchair accessible. Better to book as it can get pretty busy sometimes.You will not be disappointed!

The food is amazing, from the appetizers to the desserts. There isn’t a single dish I’ve tried that I wouldn’t want to eat again and again.The service is always impeccable and one of a kind. I must say, this is definitely a place you NEED to experience. Certainly my favorite restaurant in New Zealand.

Firstly fresh and positive vibes as we entered the restaurant with great welcoming from lovely staff members. We ordered vegetarian pizza and pastas along with bread dips and garlic bread which were all so good all I can say. Very well organised staff I would say as we did not have ask them to come and serve they were just there when we wanted to add more.

Super yummy food here and really nice restaurant atmosphere. We had a dinner here with family and friends ordered a big range of food. Didn’t took much time to serve it. It was delicious. You must book it in advance. It’s very popular and very busy restaurant. Will definitely be back.

I visited this place yesterday evening with my friend. I was highly impressed with the food they serve, the waitresses were also very friendly towards us. However, I found the manager (the lady who was billing us) to be really rude and racist towards me and my friend. First she gave us an eye roll when we were ordering the food, and then she gave us looks as soon as we finished to just leave the table asap. We felt really uncomfortable and didn’t feel like she was happy with our presence. Moreover towards the end when we were leaving we smiled at her and said thank you goodbye but she wasn’t even bothered to look at us. This kind of service is unacceptable and she needs to change her attitude towards her customers. Even though I loved the food I would not return to this place because of her attitude.

One of my favourite restaurants in the whole of Auckland – in Glen Eden!!! Really took me back to family restaurants in rural Italy – vibrant, warm environment and delicious LARGE meals! Loved the BYO option too haha.

Have been coming to La Rosa for a couple years now and can honestly say, they never ever disappoint. The food & service miraculously gets better each visit. Tonight we went and they were super packed however we were able to enjoy our 2 course meals and be in and out within a hour, impeccable service always! Best Italian restaurant we’ve ever visited.

The service and food is good. However it annoys me when I m presented with a $355 bill to have an eftpos charge of $7.50 added when paying.Really getting sick of the restaurant trade who are reporting poor turnovers and wanting me to help pay their bank charges.Why is it that I can go to the supermarket who must work on way smaller margins and pay by credit card without surcharge.Time to consider if you want my custom in future…

All other restaurants, take note. This is how you do it.I, personally, don't like to go out for Italian because, in my opinion, that's something you can easily do at home. But La Rosa is something different.The food here is delicious, cooked well, good flavour, well priced, I have nothing to complain about.The service is great, the waitstaff remember us from many many years ago which is a lovely touch you just don't get everywhere.The atmosphere is lovely, it takes you straight back to Italy, even though you're in little old Glen Eden.

Service very good. Today my $29 dollar lunch was garlic bread, a glass of wine and calamari with chips and salad. However, I then got offered the dessert menu and succumbed so out went the $29...My pannacotta was perfect. Coffee excellent. Good parking across the way. Wheelchair accessible. Kids menu available. Still highly recommended

Firstly, great vibe walking to our table. Staff were absolutely amazing. First class service. I had the 500g Rib-eye meal. Wow is so I can say. Veges with it was exceptional with the blue cheese sauce. Wife and kids loved their meal as well. Loved my vodka and lime drink so I had more. 😂 Overall, great experience with amazing food and awesome staff.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and they have delivered beautiful dishes of generous portion sizes both times. In my latest visit, I would highly recommend the Maiale and the parfait. They were such stand out dishes! The gorgonzola pizza was well-executed allowing all flavours to take the stage. The gamberi was also nice, but definitely needing the bread to soak up slightly heavy salted garlic/herb oil. I’d prefer the ragu to have a bit more depth of flavour, also.Overall a great experience and addition to good West Auckland spots. Lovely service and great ambiance. I would recommend to book just in case it gets quite busy (which was the case in my last visits).

A few rowdy people on the night we visited but the service and food surpassed this echo and disturbance. Absolutely loved the service from entering to leaving. The chef cooked my steak to perfection.. plus all trimmings. Cocktail 🍸 was next level, on point. Would definitely be back.

The restaurant is located at the corner and the reservation is a must before you go there. We ended up taking a Take Out due to that and ordered Pasta in Creamy Sauce with vegetables and no sesame, folks were welcoming to our special dietary and customization request and it turned out to be one of the best pasta we had in the area.They had a bunch of other vegetarian options as well apart from Pasta and could be a good place for anyone looking for a fancy dinner.

Well established Italian restaurant in Glen Eden. This is a popular spot so it is recommended to book using their easy online booking system. Nicely greeted at the desk and shown to the table straight away. Waitress was attentive and explained specials. Order efficiently taken and meals came out quickly. Well presented and generous portion size. Meals were delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

This Italian restaurant is quite enjoyable. It boasts a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that sets the tone. The staff members are friendly and contribute to the positive vibe. The food they serve is quite good, and they offer appealing lunch deals.I opted for the spaghetti shrimp (Gamberi) and the polo. The pasta in the polo dish was cooked just right, and the chicken tasted fresh. However, the creaminess was a bit overpowering and heavy. It might be better to use a lighter cream or reduce the amount. The Spaghetti was also well-prepared, with perfectly cooked shrimp. The only drawback was that the garlic flavor was a bit stronger than desired. Using a knife to cut the garlic, rather than a garlic crusher, might help balance the flavor better. The garlic bread was a highlight, being both flavorful and crunchy.On the whole, the experience was pleasant, and I'd like to extend my thanks to the chef for their efforts.

The food is really great and the servings are generous. We took friends who hadn't been before and they all said they would be back. The wait staff are lovely and attentive and every course came out right on time. Not too fast, not too slow. The restaurant was really busy and with that comes a bit of noise but it wasn't too bad. From outside, the restaurant is not much to look at and the decor inside could maybe do with a refresh but it's about the food and service which is top notch.

Been here 5 times over the years and every single time was brilliant. These guys have a high rating for a reason and it’s stood the test of time with over 800 reviews.I proposed to my now wife here and have returned tonight for our wedding anniversary.This time I ordered garlic bread with the ‘Pollo’.A crumbed chicken stuffed with mozzarella and spinach, side of veges and buttery mashed potato. Very tasty no complaints.The staff were once again very accomodating and friendly, asking us how we were as we were seated and refilling our table water without us asking. Along with quick clearing of the table. Very good special awareness.If you want some delicious Italian food you aren’t going to find too many other places like this out West. Well done yet again La Rosa.

Amazing service, food and ambiance! I finished my pasta all by myself which speaks volume of how much I liked it. This is definitely one of the top restaurants that we dined in.I would definitely come back with the family again :)

Good little restaurant with great ambience and attentive staff. The cocktails were great, and the entrees OK, but the mains could have been better. We got the special lobster tail pasta and the lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery. I got the steak which was cooked perfectly but was just lacking that special flavour bomb. It’s definitely not a bad restaurant, and maybe we just ordered the wrong things. I’ll come back and get a pizza or non-seafood pasta next time.

La Rosa is a beautiful restaurant situated in the heart of Glen Eden. I took my partner here for her birthday dinner and we truly believe this was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The food was high quality, prepared quickly and was very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely and very accomodating. My partner and I shared the Arancini and Bruschetta for starters, followed by the Chicken Risotto and Pork Leg for mains, and capped it all off with cappuccino, white chocolate Parfait and chocolate lava cake for dessert. What an amazing feast! Wow! 5/5 Stars and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially those looking to treat a loved one to a special meal! Will definitely becoming here again in the future.

Lovely staff and fantastic food. I went to La Rosa to celebrate my birthday and it was totally worth it. Being a foodie, I have tried and tasted at most of the Italian restaurants and have found La Rosa to be one of the best. The slow cooked lamb is a must have. Would definitely come back! What can I say? Perfection in Glen Eden. More than worth the drive. I can say that because I’ve been 6 times now that’s 5 dinners plus 1 lunch with a friend. Each and every single time the service was on point, instinctual in fact. Like the water was low they gave more. Checked in to make sure you’re satisfied. Drinks were regular. The food was timed just right and so too the dessert. What makes us return again and again are the food is oh so Italian delicious and the service is consistently perfect. The ambience is exciting as the acoustics provide that buzz that feels great to be out feeling. Hard to find this combination in every restaurant. Absolutely recommend to food lovers. Price expectation of a family of 4 (2kids/2adults)spend from $100 to $170 for a 2 hour dinner sitting. Good value great food. Well worth it!

Absolutely fabulous food, everything had magnificent flavour, in a well balanced appropriately portioned yet light meal.Staff perfectly preempted your needs almost every time, even down to turning on/off the heaters outdoors.The outdoor area was well sheltered with draft free screens, perfect for the windy/rainy night that we were dining.

Went there for dinner. The place and environment is so beautiful. I loved being there. Its like Italy in a little basket. The food could be a bit better . The chef was trigger happy with salt . The food was edible , however i wont go back to spend more money. Had a fabulous time overall . The staff were lovely as well. Thank you fir an amazing evening💞

Excellent staff. Very accommodating. Booked a reservation via google but did not notice the date. But still welcomed us for a dine. Consistent with checking vaccination pass. Very respectful approach to customers. Good food, wished for more portioning because i wanna eat more, but over all fair serving. No photos cause we enjoyed the food. highly recommended.
